Char Dham Offline Travel Registration to Begin from April 28 – Sign Boards Installed for Easy Guidance
Great news for pilgrims heading for the sacred Char Dham Yatra this year! If you haven’t registered online yet, don’t worry — Char Dham offline travel registration will start from April 28 at key locations. The Tourism Department is making sure that everyone can join the spiritual journey, whether you register online or offline.
Where Can You Register Offline?
To help pilgrims, 65 offline registration counters will be set up in:

Rishikesh
-
Vikasnagar
-
Herbertpur
If you’re traveling in a group, you can even register at your place of stay. This makes the process even more convenient for group travelers.

Registration Stats So Far
Since March 20, more than 18 lakh pilgrims have already registered online for different dates. Out of these, over 16,700 foreign travelers have also signed up.
According to Yogendra Gangwar, the nodal officer for Char Dham registration, around 60% of the total registrations are happening online, while 40% will be completed through offline counters.

New Sign Boards Installed on Routes
To ensure a smooth journey for pilgrims, the police have begun installing sign boards along the Char Dham Yatra routes. These boards will guide travelers and prevent confusion during the pilgrimage.
Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Kumar has assigned local police station heads to handle this task. Many signboards were already installed on Thursday in Doiwala and Rishikesh.
SSP Ajay Singh shared that these boards will help pilgrims get the right directions and information during the Yatra, making the experience safer and more comfortable.
