Char Dham Winter Trip Yatra : Along with Panch Badri, Panch Kedar, major places around the Char Dham Winter Yatra stay will be developed. Systematic parking should be made around major populated areas and hotels on the Chardham Yatra routes.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said, devotees coming to visit the winter stay places of Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham will be given 25 percent discount on rent in Garhwal Mandal Development Corporation (GMVN) hotels. The winter journey will also prove to be a game changer in increasing the economy of the state.
Char Dham Winter Trip : Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed the District Magistrates
He directed the District Magistrates to report to the government in a week on the challenges faced by the pilgrims in the Char dham Yatra this time and how they can be resolved properly. CM Dhami held a high-level meeting in the Secretariat regarding the Char Dham Winter Trip or winter Char Dham Yatra and upcoming Chardham Yatra.
Said, Panch Badri, Panch Kedar as well as major places around winter yatra stay will be developed. Systematic parking should be made around major populated areas and hotels on the Char dham Yatra routes. It is our collective responsibility to make the journey comfortable and provide every possible facility to the devotees.
The CM said, the number of devotees is increasing every year in the Chardham Yatra. Work should be done to increase the carrying capacity on the basis of the facilities gathered in the Dhams. Work should also be done on an alternative route for Yamunotri Dham. A meeting should be held at the government level with stakeholders for the Yatra.
Start Preparations for Ardh Kumbh now
The CM directed to start preparations for the upcoming Ardh Kumbh to be held in Haridwar from now onwards. Said, work should be done in every field from now on to make this event grand. Work should also be done rapidly on the Ganga and Sharda corridor. Work should be done on alternative routes for the convenience of devotees coming to Purnagiri and Kainchi Dham. He directed to make proper arrangements for transportation from the state for Prayagraj Kumbh.
