Hemkund Sahib Kedarnath Badrinath Dham is Snowless in November 2024

Badrinath Dham Snowless 2024: Lack of snow is clearly visible in the high Himalayan regions of Uttarakhand in the month of November this year. The peaks and religious places which remain covered with snow every year till November, are snow-free this time. This situation is being considered a sign of changing weather and environmental changes. The absence of snow in religious places like Hemkund Sahib and Badrinath Dham has become a matter of concern not only for environmental experts but also for local people and pilgrims.

Apart from Badrinath Dham Snowless, other areas are also snow free

Badrinath Dham, which is seen covered with a white blanket of snow in the month of November, is completely snow free this time. The major peaks around the Badrinath Dham, like Neelkanth, Nar-Narayan, and the top peak of Mata Murti Temple are also free from snow. There is no sign of snow even on Vasudhara trek and in high altitude areas.

No snow even in Kedarnath Dham and Vasuki Tal

Climate change and environmental impacts

Experts believe that global warming and climate change are responsible for this situation. Due to continuous increase in temperature and unseasonal rain, snowfall is decreasing. This situation will not only affect the environment but also local water sources and agriculture. Let us tell you that if timely measures are not taken. The ecological balance of the Himalayan regions may deteriorate in the coming years, which will affect the entire country.
